The waters off Tomiura, Minamiboso are renowned as prime fishing grounds. Try big-game fishing as you float on a specially created raft. If you can focus entirely on fishing while out at sea, you are sure to land a big one.
Your fishing spot will be a raft floating offshore, the only place where you can enjoy fishing of this kind in Chiba Prefecture. Measuring five meters square, these spacious fishing rafts are even equipped with a toilet. The waters off Tomiura, located at the mouth of Tokyo Bay, are renowned as prime fishing grounds where the Kuroshio Current flows into the bay. You can catch a huge variety of fish here, including black porgy, sillago, filefish, parrot fish, halfbeak, flounder, flathead, oval squid, and red sea bream. Out at sea with nobody around to bother you, you will be able to focus all of your concentration on fishing.

The sea around the rafts is known as an excellent place to find black porgy. Here, you can see the dark shadows of numerous big fish of many kinds gliding through the water, so you may be in for a surprisingly large haul.
Sail from the fishing port to the rafts in a fishing boat chartered by the Fishery Cooperative. You will reach the offshore rafts in around 5 minutes. Fishing off one of these rafts floating in the middle of the sea will be an experience you are unlikely to forget.
