"Sunset Beach Inn Kawana" is a guest house located right in front of Iwai Beach.
The inn offers cooking experiences for educational tours, such as making dried fish, and this time, the guests were able to experience the whole process of processing, cooking, and eating horse mackerels!
(1) Each person will cut 3 horse mackerels into 3 pieces, one to eat on the spot and the remaining 2 to take home in a pack.
(2) After watching the owner's demonstration, participants actually try their hand at filleting the horse mackerels!

(3) Sliced meat is skewered and coated with breadcrumbs. If the breading is too thick, the meat will be tough, so it is OK to use a fluffy batter.
The owner is in charge of frying the fish, and two fries are prepared, one as is and the other is sandwiched between two baguette.
In addition to the completed "actual fries", sashimi, boiled fish, etc. can be added to the meal for an additional 2,750 yen. (Consultation required).
